Won't happen... I doubt sony would do something that stupid :) They said they wanted LBP to be a system seller and the only good system sellers are the exclusive games.

Not going to happen, getting rid of online would ruin the game, and the PS2 will not have any significant software sales after 25/12/08, so there's not much point anyway.

Also, Sony's plan is for LBP to convert the 100 million or so PS2 owners who lack a 7th gen console to the PS3

Meh.... I would buy the ps3 version. Not because I have a ps3, but because am pretty sure that the ps2 can't handle the physics as realistic as the ps3....
