mm if you wanna be more sony fanboy after you make the exchange sell the 360 and get more ps3 titles xD lol

That's probably the only possible way, at this point, that he could own himself.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

though i have to go buy the wifi and the year subscription of xbox live. which both will cost around $150. *sigh*

Oh god don't pay that much! We excel on these forums at finding good deals and i'll give you some better options for your wireless and XBL needs.

We have another thread showing a 12 month + 1 extra month of Xbox Live Gold for 39.99 at newegg.com

Also travel to eBay to get a much better deal on the wireless adapter. You can probably get a new one for roughly $70. There's also a Pelican third party brand wireless adapter going on eBay for like $45 with shipping, but I can't vouch if it's a quality product or not. You'll have to do your own research if interested. Don't do retail, you'll get screwed.

Right there you'll have saved at least $40, which is enough for 1 or 2 360 games. Congrats on the console and do join the Gamerscore League when you pick up Live.

I got a logitech play link for $25... It basically a wireless bridge. You can find them under 50 bucks... It gives you a wireless access point that you plug an ethernet cable from your 360 into.

I hate trolls.

Systems I currently own:  360, PS3, Wii, DS Lite (2)
Systems I've owned: PS2, PS1, Dreamcast, Saturn, 3DO, Genesis, Gamecube, N64, SNES, NES, GBA, GB, C64, Amiga, Atari 2600 and 5200, Sega Game Gear, Vectrex, Intellivision, Pong.  Yes, Pong.

Whenever you read about these kind of deals it usually means that the person selling the 360 has purchased another 360. Either thanks to them choosing to upgrade to a newer model, or they bought a second model while their old model was being repaired. The latter was how I came about my 360.

I bought mine used from my brother for $300 plus five games. At that price I felt it was a justifiable purchase. I am not entirely sure the other guy got the raw end of the stick he probably got a better deal then he would have had trade in value at a gamestop. After all nothing wrong with having a portable movie/game player. For those times when you cannot get to a console.

Congratulations on making a fine purchase. Remember to also hit the demos, and download your free Halo 3 maps if they are not currently installed.

How well does it work? I was thinking of going wireless but didn't really want to shell out for the expensive adapter since I have an option to keep it wired.

It works great, but if you are going any kind of distance, it will cut your total available bandwidth in half.  I have a 1.5 Meg connection and I get about 800K-1Meg of throughput.  I'm about 25 feet from the wireless router.  Other wireless bridges will probably work better but the play link is CHEAP.

I'll look into it. Thanks a bunch.
