I have just bought my first lcd tv(a little late I know) a Samsung 81cm with both component connections and hdmi connections and AV connections available. I have my Wii connected by AV cables at the moment but I would like to know which is the best way of connecting it to produce the best picture. Also roughly how much do the cables required cost? Thanx in advance.

Components are always the best.

I always buy that kind of stuff at eBay, they're at less than 10 bucks I think.

Component cables and make sure you set your Wii on 480P and widescreen in the Wii menu.

Wow what a difference. The component cables really made a difference. If anyone else owns a HD TV and is still using AV cables go and get the component cables asap as the difference is huge.

I bought a set that allows the Wii, PS3 and 360 to all be connected together although it says not to turn them on at the same time. It was made by a company called penguin united and was 60% cheaper than the Nintendo official version. Its good as I am thinking of buying a 360 later on and this is perfect for this. Is this what you wanted wesslewoggle(great name BTW)

I use a component cable for my TVs, and a VGA cable for my PC monitor, and they really do make a difference compared to Composite. I think alot of the people complaining about the Wii looking like crap on their HDTVs are using composite cables.
