wow Gears1 was a damn good looking game. Still not my favorite game or visual style but very nice indeed.

you might need to watch it again. Gears 2 looks much better and brigther.

OP is clearly blind because Gears of War 2 looks better. Detail and lighting are subtly better, more action onscreen as well.

It's not a major improvement, but GeoW 1 already looked incredible.

Anyone who has downloaded the e3 gameplay footage will know how great this game looks and how much of a improvment there is in both the overall graphics of the backrounds, lighting of the characters and just the sheer amount if stuff going on not only in the fighting but the backround stuff to e.g smoke and fire and all that. Whats great to is that the game is still months from coming out so we know that they are still touching things up. Gears 1 is still one of the best looking games out there and gears 2 will look even better and be up there as one of the best 2.
