That is not good advice. "Monster" are the biggest ripoffs in the industry. There is no difference between Monsters $69 cable and a $5 gold-plated sheilded cable. I have tested this myself and there is no difference. I borrowed my friends monster cable and used my cable purchased from Monoprice there was no difference in picture or sound.  Monster just gets people to pay rediculous amounts of money for some thing they know nothing about.

 

Buy a cable from Monoprice and you'll be fine.
