Forums - PC Discussion - Do you have to pay to play TF2 online?

Hi, I honestly have no idea whether I do or not. Any comment would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Non at all. For PC games you only pay for MMOs to play online.

Really? Steam doesn't cost money? I thought you needed Steam to play TF2.

Now I might pick it up.

That is VGChartz LONGEST review. And it's NOT Cute Kitten DS

Only xbox live charges you for online multiplayer, except for MMOs

Yes, you need Steam to play Valve's PC games, but that doesn't mean it costs money like Xbox Live. No, Steam is free.

You don't have to pay to play any PC games usually except MMOs. PC online play is almost always free, and Steam is free by the way for anyone that didn't know.

Oh hell yeah, Steam is free. Valve wouldn't want to have price barriers get in the way of their clever marketing and anti-piracy software. ;)

I just downloaded it. I can buy The Orange Box for 39.99 dollars. That's rougly half of what a cheap new game costs in Norway, and 1/3 of the price of a high priced game.

That's a shock to me.

Any good SRPG recommendations? And are there any free games?
