It took me several tries; I didn't time it, but judging from the cramps I had at the end it was a long, long while. A lot of it comes down to luck: the amp attack won't affect you much, the strum bar isn't that big a deal, but the lefty flip and chord ones never fail to bring me down fast. That's why I suggest using your weaker power-ups to stop him from getting his own whacks in, and then unleashing all of yours in sequence to finish things quickly.
Even then though it's not easy, so best of luck, and enjoy the party.
Harder than Chieftain?
Try even harder than Hard Rock. Think of it as doing Jumping Jack Flash on Hard Rock, but every once in a while the beats will move to a new location, or you'll be unable to hit one until you press the A button repeatedly, or chunks of the song are randomly mirrored. THAT's Lou.
