mm they are good but i really prefer RE5, killzone2, dead space, mirrors edge, siren, silent hill over all those games sorry they are good but i prefer the competition

That's quite a pathetic list considering it's spread between 2008 and 2009 releases. This isn't to knock the Wii, but if you were trying to make a point by naming 10 core games over the next 9-12 months, you really didn't prove a damn thing. In fact if I were to go by your list and had no other knowledge of the Wii's lineup, I would say the Wii truly doesn't have much of any "core" games at all.

if you have 1000s of great games...it becomes the standard...and nobody wants that type of game anymore..they want better..

if every game gets a 9 or higher....nobody cares anymore...

if a game standard is at 6..and some games get 8s...that game must be good..

if ALL games get a 9...something is wrong...seriously...I play them..they feel boring and the same.(not all though)

Dude, I thought you weren't done/ You need to put more games here. The Wii has damn near 50 good titles from now to January on the way. You didn't list enough.

It matters because a lot of developers are interested in making a quick buck instead of writing quality software. That's why the list is so short and yet it's covering games into next year as well! If you compare average review scores for all 3 platforms, the Wii's library is by far the worst, so I have fewer good titles to choose from. So yes, it does matter.

hmmm....I have one word...Mirror's Edge is the only game that I really want...that's not Wii..

all the other games..including RE5...is just an RE4 port...wich looks nicer..and has co-op

Not necessarily. By that logic, the DS wouldn't have a great number of good games. But it does, even though the crappy games for it probably vastly outnumber the good ones.
And that list is obviously very incomplete, it's just a few select upcoming titles.
