@Onimusha-Your problems with the games obviously go way beyond just where they're ending up. If major support goes to the Wii, you'll just end up having to deal with these same games you don't care for on your own console. Switching to Wii development isn't going to turn on the lightbulb for these developers where they suddenly have miraculous ideas. It will be more of the same on the Wii. If you don't care for online gaming then fine, but that is where the industry is going, and even Nintendo is making slow strides in that direction.
Out of everything the HD consoles are getting you're only interested in RE5 and DMC4? So basically just Capcom games then huh? So how is it you like much of anything on the Wii? It shares the same genres that the HD consoles have, just provides a few less games at the moment. You couldn't possibly be excited about much of any of these third party games other than maybe MadWorld.
You keep patiently waiting for your support to come, and then you can refill for hatred meter when you realize the games that got turned over to the Wii were the exact same games you didn't buy an HD console for. Take into account too, that my statement was also referring to the fact that the DS takes up a lot of possible Wii resources and probably screws it over worse than the HD consoles do. Crystal Chronicles took a long hiatus on the Wii, but the DS got their version in a timely matter. The Wii got a Castlevania fighting game and the DS got the next sidescroller. The Wii got a Dragon Quest Swords game while Square put Dragon Quest IX on the DS. Think about what the Wii is really losing support to and then think if that little machine is going away any time soon.
Everything you said is a valid argument if it's your own personal opinion, but I commented that you were talking about all Wii owners being patient which many aren't and nothing you said in your follow up refers to them at all, just yourself.
Oh and please rejoin the Madden topic Oni. I thought you were trying to make a point.
@Gnizmo-If I get excited now, I might literally blow up when the first details and trailers do get released so I'll just sit back and play the new Treasure DS games in the meantime and forget Treasure said that for now. Hey just to let you know, they also mentioned wanting to put Radiant Silvergun on Xbox Live. I would pay through my wallet for that to happen.
