Catching up...... IN WEEKLY SALES?

I noticed that Xbox sales were ~ 6 k and PS3 sales were ~10 k.

That means MS is only 4 k behind every week and will lessen the gap before we know it!

Possibly, though it was most likely anticipation for Tales of Vesperia. I could see it happening though.

well I just noticed that PS3 is near 2 million and Xbox is not quite at 500k yet. But its better than it was before! Wasn't it doing like 1k a week at one point?

but, plz, wait a little, to see if Xbox360 is really catching or not.

Remember, you have to outsold the other console to catch it ...

It's not much different from the 7k - 2k it was earlier this year - 360 is having constant releases, PS3 needs more of that.

Next week it may outsell ps3.

May? It's guaranteed. The bundles alone are almost more then the PS3 sales.

If Sony is outselling the 360 by one console per week, they would still be widening the gap.

It's just math.

360 in NA, PS3 in Japan, relatively close split in others. Not going to change for another couple years.

Japanese are quite patriotic when it comes to buying tech. Anyway, its possible X360 to outsell one or two weeks PS3 in Japan, but highly improbable.

I dunno why, but the thread title bothers me too much.... :S
