Forums - Nintendo - New Dead Rising Wii Screens, this time with more WAGGLE!

Lets hope these are just bad screen shots. I'd love to play dead rising since I don't have a 360 but it looks a lot like a blurry mess. I would have to compare it to House of the Dead 2. At least that game has an excuse, it's like ten years old.

Yea those screens are pretty bad, thats why I'm saying it resembles Driver: Parralel Lines, which wasn't a bad game at all, the controls for the car driving was horrible thought.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

Such loving use the term "Waggle", not the slightest hint of condisention in the slightest, lol.

Consider yourself reported.

This post isn't on topic in the slightest, and as usual, you're just stirring the pot for no good reason.

The waggle is talking about how we now have screens of the waggle and what it does.  You waggle the controler to fight the zombies off/use weapons.  How esle shoudl I explain it?

They should've put some more effort in something else; Like a new Resident Evil game on the RE4 engine and the same control-scheme... Create a new AAA game but have all the pre-stuff done (engine, character designs etc...)... Continuing on the RE4 storyline I mean.

But no, Capcom sees it this way; Take a million-selling game. Take away Frank's camera, the use of stuff in the Mall, the reason why he's in the mall (because of the camera), use the RE4 engine whilst it doesn't look like RE in the slightest (only the zombie part), make it more gun-orientated, add in waggle, make sure there's more then 10 zombies on screen without the game dropping below 30Fps and done! Honestly, it only takes 25 people and 6 months to make a game like this which makes it another cheap game that is essentially a gimped port from a HD-console from Capcom.

Not saying the game won't be great though ^^...

THE NETHERLANDS

Wow. it never ceases to amaze me just how much people can tell about a game and how it plays by looking at a few early screenshots.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Hmmm.. I don't think the waggle in this picture should be from left to right....

I would have to say play it first before you make any judgements... but that will probably fall on deaf ears.

I agree 100%. I have been a big advocator of this fact (especially with this game).

You said it.

This was one of the very first games I planned to get on my 360, so I'm glad it was announced for the Wii before I purchased it. I'll probably wait until the end of the year before I make up my mind on which one to get...ya know, when plenty of people have actually played the darn game and can intelligently give opinions on it.

But maybe I'll do like I did with Splinter Cell: Double Agent and get both versions, assuming I like the first version I play.

"I feel like I could take on the whole Empire myself."

wow quigontcb, both Splinter Cells? The reviews didn't exactly paint a pretty picture for the Wii version.
