Forums - General - Crickets are annoying

I have a severe problem with crickets in my house. Although they generally hide in the dark crevices of my house during the day, they spread out at night and rear their disgusting heads whenever possible. There's really nothing I can do to stop them from entering my house, so does anyone have any bright ideas on how to get rid of them?

I've tried scented glue traps. Many valiant crickets died because of my cruelty, but it still did not prevent them from roaming my house, crawling on my bed, and hopping around whenever I get near them. Currently, there's one inside my closet chirping incredibly loudly. I can hear his incessant chirping even with my headphones on full blast (listening to Buddy Holly, and I mean the song).

Anyone have any bright ideas?

What's that supposed to mean?

Also, I bought a dehumidifier but that didn't help much either.

I'm allergic to cats, although I'm interested that they can scare away crickets. Do they eat them?

There is an electronic device that emits a very high pitch sound that scares bugs and other insects.

I use to have a similar problem, but instead of crickets, they were stink bugs.

Something like this:

call Pest control

It only works for a few months... if you can, call pest control, and then buy an ultrasonic repeler.

Answer my PM. And I'll tell you how.
