Forums - PC - Vista 32-bit or 64-bit?

Which one do you guys recommend me getting for a computer that i might get?

I am also willing to except Windows XP, but it'll take some convincing as i want to move on from it.

I'll be using my computer for gaming, internet, and perhaps video editing.

First, you need at least 2GB of ram if you want to run Vista. I know it isn't required to have 2GB but I tried it with just 1GB at one point and it ate up most of my memory just running basic stuff. I upgraded to 4GB but I went back to XP anyway, I don't really need Vista. I tried both versions, but 32bit is probably fine because 64bit doesn't have much of an advantage at this point and most programs are still written for 32bit.

Highest for me is 32 bit.
