Forums - Gaming - RUMOR: Sony to publish Ghostbusters as PS3 exclusive

Sure, I can see sony throwing away all the money spent on making the game on the 360...sony is all about throwing lots of money at a problem to try and buy a result.

There is no psp version of the game jsut ps3 and ps2, i wish it would happen just to stick it to some fanboys but honestly i dont care at all. I doubt they would discard the other version for this though the developer did stat that they had a preferance working with the game on ps3.

The only reason I would say this is plausible is because Sony Pictures holds the rights to the Ghostbusters franchise.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

False accusations, just because sony owns the movie rights doesn't mean they are gonna make it exclusive to there platform, because if that was the case then it would have been in the begining. another thing why stop it from going multiplatform when the game could rank in more revenue. it would be an unwise decision.

Will not happen and even if it does MSFT will get it one way or the other. Sony's version might just have bonus features or something...

lets say the rumor is true then it is still a stupid move, this game is going to sell crap if its exclusive or not

I dunno, this game looks pretty shitty.

Number 1 reason why it won't be PS3 exclusive:

It order to recuperate the games production cost it has to be multiplat. This game isn't expected to sell huge so it makes more scene to have it on multiple consoles then just one. Unless Sony likes to lose money which I don't think they do.

Now Playing: Crysis 2

Last Finished: BulletStorm

I hope it is a PS3 exclusive!

There's no way this game is going to be any good...How many movie licensed games are?
