Conduit sales when depend on two things.
1. Marketing, if there are commercials that are catering to the hardcore crowd kind of like bioshock commercials you'll see this thing blow up. I think activision will pick up this title as the publisser (don't ask why just got a hunch) and your going to see a mediocre marketing campaign.
2. The online component, if the conduit has a very good online component (rankings, many different battle modes, very well done) you'll see it sell big possibly in the realm of metroid prime 3 because alot of wii owners have online. A hell of a lot actually but does not got a real l FPS that you'd want to pop in your console on a daily basis so you can test your skills (such as a game like halo 3, cod 4, unreal tournament)
Looking at Metroid prime 3 reviews, and it actually got sort of marketed under a well known brand name. It's sales were not poor but less then expected. It had good controls, graphics, atmosphere, and it was Nintendo. Yet still is not even at 1 million in America.
I expect conduit sales to be around 250k the first month, with legs over time ( if the online is done well) to have it at about 1-1.2 million lifetime American sales.
I know I'll be picking it up myself.
