Final Fantasy X is the better game but LO is still great. Especially in Disk 3 where the pace really picks up

It does? I haven't played it for months because the second disk is soooo slow. The battles take ages lol.

Both have equally mediocre storylines though LO isn't plauged by the horrible voice overs FFX was by. The gameplay seems less enjoyable as well, though LO isn't a bad game but it's not a gem either. If you can buy it under 25 it's worth it.

Yes, though the cutscenes take much of the time on Disk 3 but the cutscenes have lots of action and lot of fighting in them

FFX had a great story.  LO's story was pretty generic but the game revolves more around its characters than plot.  If you didn't like LO that much, you didn't play up to Disk 3 than because that is when the pace picks up a lot
