Nothing. Sony is taking a huge loss on every syatem sold as it is. They shouldn't have made a console that costs so much to make. They could have duct-taped two PS2s together instead.

I really don't think they will follow M$ here with a price cut now. They have good games comming this year and amazing ones next, plus the system is still moving good numbers.

well upgrading the 40GB and having one model is a good start for Sony. Adds more value for $399. I expect production costs to fall dramatically afterward. 45nm CELL, 65nm RSX (55nm future).

uh SaviorX - the online currency on the Playstation network is US dollars. They dont use some old carnie tricks to confuse you on how much money you are actually spending. Neat idea huh? list the price in dollars not points, brilliant!!!!
