Forums - General - So....you want a Wii for $10?

I would not even pay $10 for a Wii. I own 2 PS3's (60Gb and 80GB) and I also own a X360 Elite. No Wii ever for me

Around the Network

yes, a spare Wii ccould be resold for a nice profit

huh, how is $10 worth less than $250 before taxes?

Not in the eyes of a poker player.

When you don't have overwhelming odds the only time you should enter a bet is when your likely odds beat the invesment needed to win the "pot" and usually by a decent amount.

Since the "Pot" a Wii = 250... and it costs $10 for a 1 in 45 shot...

$450>$250 makes it a bad bet.

Yes. But on the other hand it's only $10, which is hardly poker-level money.

Aurally examine my music!

Wear gaudy colours or avoid display. It's all the same.

Be warned, I will use walls of polysyllables and complex clauses as a defence against lucid argument.

Wand to read a creepy thread?

My Wii cost about $30 for 100% chance, so I'm good.  Referred 5 friends to use Gamefly for a month, 4 of them used the service, I paid off the 5th for $15, and then I paid $15 for a month of Gamefly, and they gave me a free Wii.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
