 I'm not asking to get rid of ads, I'm talking about the super annoying ones.


In particular the Fart Button and then I just hit the website forum and got sound playing of a mosquito.

The Fart button is flashing which is the #1 annoyance in web design.   I'm not epileptic but I can't beleive this one would be acceptable to them.

The mosquito is unsolicited sound which is incredibly annoying.

Really, these deter me from visiting the site.

I'm not complaining about ads in general, even animated ads.    But these are imho unacceptable and you need to lose them.  If you go through a third party for ads you need better control on them.

Sorry if this sounds a bit rude.

Turn off you sound while you are cruisn' the internet. ioi needs the revenue to give you the info you like.

I didn't say I didn't want ads.

I DO say I don't want to turn off the sound just to visit vgchartz.

Have you seen the flashing fart button ad? (It might just be in my locale.) I can't express how irritating it is.

p.s: superchunk: I agree ioi needs the revenue. So you didn't see me asking for solutions to avoid them (like adblock in Firefox.)
