if you think friendcodes are better than a gamer tag then theres something wrong you just dont go up to someone and ur like "o hey can i get your friend code?" first off friendcode just sounds faggety and the persons responce is gonna be like o let me get a pen and paper and write down a ton of random numbers how original at leat with a GT you can remmeber it a little better and have some originality think how gay xboxlive would be with everyones names as numbers i dont think anyone wants it to change

they arent gonna ditch tags, there just giving us avatars as well

@dib8erman: I think the FC system, since it would be more userfriendly to get people online.

@cattmann: Actually M$ may be the one who would like to change it. Nobodys name would need to change, thus the avatars. Only that you'd get a random ID to be able to get online and be to play/DL stuff online. Look, M$ already has a similar system with 360 ID number, credit card number and points card numbers.
