Do you think ps3 sales  will go back up when the new 80gb model arrives in september for $399.00?

 or do you think they will decrease even more do to 360's new price of $199.00?

PS3 sales seems quite low at the moment, even a raging fanboy from N4G spammed the forums due to his disbelief but i think they will go up again for the 80gb version.

I see the 360 hitting back quite hard for the second half of this year so it's going to be interesting how the two compare but it should be close with all the different games coming out.

PS3 with R2 and LBP will do well but so too will 360 with gears 2 and Fable 2 so it's going to be close!

Yes, sales will increase. I am not prepared to say sales will increase enough to outsell the X360 (in NA), but I would be shocked if sales decreased any further.

i think they should of had the new 80GB ready the week following E3
and then phase out the 40GB by decreasing its price or adding a game with purchase or something

I think sony will drop the price to $350.

Yes, they will get better, and 360 won't be beating it WW again. But the best way to insure this is to drop the price by 50$... or even 30.......
