lol, I know it might not be "internet hip" but I like all the songs on that list. Sue me.

There's one Muse song that I absolutely love. I hope they pick it, lol.

Music, the only thing that is more dependant on personal taste than videogames.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

uh, RB2 is going to have 84 songs on disc, Im going to assume that if GHWT has more, its going to only be a couple more, and with (as per Harmonix at E3) 500 songs available to play by the holidays via DLC, which they might not hit, but even if they get 300 or 400 songs ready by the end of November thats going to be a couple more than is available to GHWT. Right now I think there are around 150 or 160 songs available for download in Rock Band.

As for the songs, I dont see anything very different here than what is offered in the Rock Band franchise, its nice to see they have Beat It, but that song does get a bit repetitive musically.

Im going to have to go with the obvious dark horse this holiday season.

WIIMUSIC!

GoGo Wiimusic!!1

I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

This space Reserved for the Nuggets of Wisdom dropped by Bladeforce:

"Why post something like this when all it will get is PS3 owners blinded to reality replying? BOTH THE PS3 AND BLUE-RAY WILL NOT LAST 3 YEARS! TECHNOLOGY CHANGED TOO FAST!"

"is it Wii FIt that has sold as many as PS3's sold? Thats a LOL Look at the total sales of software is it just me that sees Nintendo titles hitting 10m+ and you say they arent making a difference? Another LOL!"

"Hell, with all the negative hype Sony spin, people just aren't interested cost is too high and to get the true HD experience (1080p, 7.1 surround) you will need a $1000+ system. THAT IS GOING TO DO IT IN A RECESSION! PS4 will not happen"

Beat it and In the End are cool.

How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...

I meant more songs in GHWT dsic. I wasnt mentioning DLC or anything.

You sound like youre on the RB side but w/e i dont need all those damn songs becuase I'll only like a handful of those. I dont need 100+ because at most I'll only like 30 so :P Harmonix can make its money out of people like you who are willing to pay for all that garbage music they'll release.

Some of those songs (e.g. Light my Fire, Beat It) were on the fake list from Something Awful. That would explain Activision saying "most of the list is speculation". I hope some of the other goodness from the fake list makes it on.

Aurally examine my music!

Wear gaudy colours or avoid display. It's all the same.

Be warned, I will use walls of polysyllables and complex clauses as a defence against lucid argument.

Wand to read a creepy thread?

Eclectic bunch of tunes, eh? Also: Nirvana, the Beastie Boys, and Muse will appear in the game, although which tracks haven't been disclosed yet.

Muse - Assassin
Beastie - No Sleep Till Brooklyn
Nirvana - About a Girl

Put money on those 3.
