Cellphone messages. If I remember correctly, that's what I had trouble reading.

I don't know how the only person to mention this is someone who doesn't own the game but you can increase the size of text in the game.  Its in the cell phone menu.

And yes you do need to read in the game.

I do own GTAIV, or were you talking about kingofwale not owning Dead Rising?

Thanks for the tip though, I didn't notice that :)

I'm not saying that Wii only owners would never buy the game, but if you owned only a Wii, and a 2.5 year old port-make came to your system, would you pay full price for the game?

I would hope people would wait until the price dropped to buy it.

It's a moot point anyway.

RE4 Wii was budget priced, this will be too.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Just a counter example, there are probably more.

Add Siren to that list.

The new Siren is A LOT different than the original.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

This game is shaping up well. I wonder what it's price will be? $30 or $40 would be fantastic. Wasn't RE4:Wii Edition only $30?

I'm fairly certain that RE4 started at $40, and then fell to $30 fairly quickly.  I wouldn't be surprised if the same happened to Dead Rising.

Nope. I bought RE4 Wii day one for $30.

In Europe, both RE4:Wii and Zack & Wiki are full-priced games (or at least they were at launch).

Yep, both still costs as much as SSBB ($60) ...

Just asking, Im thinking this for awhile now, is Dead Rising a shoulder head or a top view game? :/ Atleast on the Wii, most of the screens I've seen so far are shoulder head view

end of core gaming days prediction:

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

E3 2010- Tape runs out

when has "larger text" considered an "improvement"????

I mean, i know people jokingly say that Wii is for older people, but this is getting ridiculous.

That's Capcom making fun of itself. Dead Rising's text on 360 was too small, even for the HDTV I played it on. Reading the news bits was nigh-impossible.

I love how you tried to use it as an excuse to troll the Wii and wound up embarrassing yourself, though.

Classic.

"I mean, c'mon, Viva Pinata, a game with massive marketing, didn't sell worth a damn to the "sophisticated" 360 audience, despite near-universal praise--is that a sign that 360 owners are a bunch of casual ignoramuses that can't get their heads around a 'gardening' sim? Of course not. So let's please stop trying to micro-analyze one game out of hundreds and using it as the poster child for why good, non-1st party, games can't sell on Wii. (Everyone frequenting this site knows this is nonsense, and yet some of you just can't let it go because it's the only scab you have left to pick at after all your other "Wii will phail1!!1" straw men arguments have been put to the torch.)" - exindguy on Boom Blocks

No, he was claiming the game is sure to sell at bargain price, because it's a port of an older game, forgetting that the bargain price ports on the Wii are from less powerful systems, not more.

And saying that a game will sell more at a cheaper price is a perfectly logical claim (unless you're trying to argue that DMJ is saying it won't sell a single copy at full price which is ludicrous).
