... Apps must be downloaded, free or for money its not ON the phone. Plus it takes up space. No offence, but my puny 16GB dosen't need any MORE stuff on it. Music, pictures, apps, videos, wifi itunes and not a microSD card slot in sight...

got the new samsung f480 tocco, was free only cost £15 ($30) a month contract and is much better than the iphone, i got the ipod touch and fine it to big and in my opinion apple control which apps u can put on there to much

As for the iPhone, I'm not particularly interested in it. I was playing around with a friends one, it's nice, but I wouldn't use most of the features. So I'd be like 90% of the owners, tools just buying it because it's "fashionable" and not using any of the features. I'd rather drop $900 (it's around that much in Australia upfront and then you get charged a plan on top of that according to the guy at Apple) on something I will get $900 worth of usage out of.

You are right the iphone does need more features to warrant to be a good phone hopefully the 2nd gen iphone will have some if not all of the features you listed.
