yh the d-pad is a lil devil to use man,
ok now I always wondered why people keep wanting to play fighting games with a D pad that so PS fashion...... tell me what last arcade fighting game you have seen with a D pad ???? you play with a stick and the XB stick is perfect for that.... what is the matter with you people.... stop thinking Sony for god sake....

I use a saturn pad on the 360.
PS2 saturn pad + XFPS PS2 to 360 convrter = freinds don't want to play me in SF

I adjusted to the A button in Gears pretty easily and it rarely doesn't do what I want it to... That dinnerplate, on the other hand, I have maybe a 75% shot at getting the right weapon on a good day.

Or check out my new webcomic: http://selfcentent.com/
Yeah the D-Pad is atrocious. Here are your options.
Hori Arcade Fighting Stick EX2

Soul Calibur IV Hori Arcade Fighting Stick 6-Button

Dead or Alive 4 Hori Arcade Fighting Stick
Hori Pad EX Turbo(Pay attention to the design of the D-Pad)

There are also custom built options on eBay. They aren't made from plastic like the Hori's, but are made real real arcade cabinet components. Check these out:
There are more options out there, but that gives a few choices other than the standard controller.

For me, the problem is usually that Marcus ends up rolling around on the floor while getting shot instead of going into cover. Quite amusing when I'm almost at the end of a section and lose because of it.

yeah...but almost from a month ago... I think people need to be reminded how shitty D pads have become every month. :)
I simply cannot play fighting games with the analog stick. The 360 controller is nice because it's big and comfy. But the Dpad sucks and the start button is to close to the X button creating accidental pauses throughout any type of button mashing sessions.
