Fuck that shit, now tell with all honesty, would you not have loved if it were a PS3 game, rather than a crap hand held game?

OF COURSE, I m a PS3 supporter but I'm not SE, so they decide, and I listen ...

Time to Work !

Agito XIII is good enough for me.

There was some pretty good news, but it mostly sucks for PS3 owners, hopefully they announced something under wraps, but I am really clutching at straws

It wasn't SE who said that.

Their latest "crap handheld game" sold excellent and still does. This news may not matter to you from a western gamers perspective, but it matters greatly to the Japanese market where SE are considered gods. Since Sony makes the PSP and has a significant share of SE in it's stockportfolio they win on both ends off the table. As far as the demo with the movie goes, they get royalties for the disc, the player, the movie and free publicity for the game. The ball hasn't just been bounced back to Sony, Sony owns the ball.

Who said Sony = PS3 now? They announced PE: T3B and Agito XIII for the PSP and that's pretty nice news.

PSP isn't the same as PS3. I wouldn't be surprised if more PS3 owner owns a DS than a PSP.

i own a psp and ps3

your point is like wrong.

He said 'More' not 'All'. I think most PS3 owners don't own either of them, or own both of them though.

Ugh, this thread is full of forum warrior crap.

As Soriku correctly pointed out, it wasn't SE that predicted a "megaton," it was a 1up editor who is notorious for his favoritism for Sony consoles. It's practically an internet meme. This alone should end the conversation.

But if you insist that we continue talking, Square Enix revealed FF XIII Agito and Parasite Eve 3 for the PSP. They revealed an FF XIII demo for the PS3 (and not for the 360). They restated that FF XIII Vs is PS3 exclusive. Despite being a SE event, practically everything presented that day was about Sony consoles. There was virtually no new news for 360, Wii, or DS games. But because there wasn't a single, monolithic megaton announcement, it's all crap.

This harkens to a specific subset of players, who only care about the 2-3% of the biggest, most epic games: if you aren't a main series game in the Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, Resident Evil, God of War, or Grand Theft Auto franchises, then you're not important. All other announcements are crap and meaningless. Who cares about Soul Eater for Wii? Agito for PSP? Snoopy for DS? These are all irrelevant. All that matters is Final Fantasy XIII.

For those with that mind set, then yes, the announcements did not live up to snuff.
