Yea, I am a bit testy tonight lol.
I get some games might be improved if they actually had a jump button(Heavenly Sword was great even without one but if it did it could potentially add depth). Yet some people always want a game to be able to just pick up and go. No real depth of interface whats so ever. They want the "2 button" game where it is always jump and shoot lol. This bothers me. Mainly because I think catering to the casual gaming/shovel ware market is detrimental to the gaming industry as a whole. While some games will be better suited this way (Mario Bros) others just dont (FFX).
People need to wake up and smell the coffee, there is more to gaming than a jump button.....

You can't be serious. That's what your actually complaining about. It's not about the "Jump Button" at all. It's about how your not being coddled anymore and the shift for more of a broad audiance.
You need to wake up and smell the coffee, there is more to gaming than what you want..... yeesh the only thing I hear is that you don't want them in your turf or spending money on gameing. Like spending money is a bad thing.
Anyways yes, some games are better with it. Some are not. Some don't need the idea of it, but as it's been mentioned before. Older gamers are use to the S/NES days where Jump Button was a major part of the game. Either way relax
