1. have the console in the vertical position, not horizontal.

2. Using it as a dvd player makes it overheat even more, just like the ps2.

3. Buy a good accessory to keep it cool.

4. Don't leave it on when you aren't playing it, unless you are downloading something.

5. Keep the system on a raised surface (Don't just leave it on a carpet!) like a desk.

6. Take that 15-minute break between every hour!!! It's good for your health too.

7. Disable the ring lights in your 360.

8. dont turn it on

9. "Put it next to your oil column heater so it doesn't get cold"

10. Have HD-DVD drive and console in "Missionary position"

Question. Why the vertical position and not missionary? My 360 and 360 HD-DVD drive you on top of each other doing naughty missionary things. Should I change that?

@ tip 3, those intercooler devices can cause the PSU to overload and it will void your RRoD warranty.
