PS3 = 1337

Us PS3 owners are elite gamers and sorry to the others who do not have the money to be able to afford a PS3. You all wanted a PS3 for Xmas but your parents bought you either a Wii or X360. A gaming console is a gaming console. One console is better than no console.

Huh. I learned something today. I thought you had to be 65 to be considered a senior citizen. I guess that's my mistake.

(EDIT 2: Ha. I just realized why. I was told by my grandparents that they weren't senior citizens until 65 to make them seem younger to me. Never questioned it.)

But, don't you think your response was a bit of an over-reaction? I mean, I don't complain whenever Nintendo does go after the target audience I'm in. 

 EDIT: Alright, I've now read some of the newer posts of the thread as I had left this window and now I've come back. What's the point of "reporting" the interview to a magazine? Do you feel better? I understand you can feel insulted over a what someone says, but come on it all seems like an over-the-top reaction.

So the Wii is selling because it is like the Wii, brillant analysis Sherlock! It's selling more because they decided they weren't lemming and didn't follow the other two dumbass down the cliff. You seem to be missing the point completely. The games on the Wii are unique because of the controls. Take away the controls, and you take away the Wii itself.

What are you really saying? That the Wii is cheaper, and less powerful than the other consoles? Yeah - we know that.

Its a disruptive device, which means that it plays by its own rules. Change these rules back to the "conventional" rules, and sure it won't stack up - its not supposed to.

BMaker11 said that we were NOT playing the Wii for the games - rather for the controls. This is completely wrong. We play Wii for the unique games on the Wii which require these controls.

If you take away the software, the Wii is nothing.
