Forums - Sony - Good JRPGs for PSP...

After S-E's Parasite Eve 3 announcement, I'm seriously considering buying a PSP. Any other good JRPGs on PSP? I haven't really been paying attention to PSP games so aside form Crisis Core and VP: lenneth, I can't think of much else. Your input will be helpful in making this decision so thanks in advance.

The only others I believe are Brave Story,Tales of The World Radiant Mythology , and I beleive another tales game, and Final Fantasy I&2 remakes. Also if you consider Monster Hunter an RPG that too. The rest are Srpgs. Jeanne D Arc, and FFT. Future ones are FFXIII Agito, Kingdom Hearts BBS, Tales of the World Radiant Mythology 2, and SO remakes. I'm not too sure what else there is but I'm sure others could help.

 I don't play SRPGs.

I'm trying to figure out the quantity/quality of psp JRPGs out there. I've always heard that the psp didn't even have that many games at all. I actually believed it, since even the ps3 software has been outselling the psp's. But depending on how good pe3 turns out to be and how many other good JRPGs are on psp, I might get one

 The list doesn't look that impressive from what you mention. Perhaps, I'll just wait till next year since S-E also mentioned that PE3 gameplay would be different from the previous game. I really can't tell if that would mean better or worse because I'd prefer if they just stuck with the PE2 style gameplay.

Just JRPG? Awww PSP has 3 amazing SRPGs. Anyway here is the JRPG list

Out Now

Tales of the World Radiant Mythology- OK

Final Fantasy Anniversary Edition- Pretty Good

Final Fantasy 2 Anniversary Edition- Pretty Good

FF7 Crisis Core- I don't think is a JRPG, but I think you would like it anyway if you played FF7 when you were younger

Tales of Eternia- Very Good. If in usa, you must import from the UK

Brave Story- OK

Riviera the Promised land- I really liked it. I think overall its a "meh" RPG though- its point and click, but has REALLY good character development, nice music, 2D graphics and anime stills, has some nice voice acting, and has a decent story and battle system.

Valkeryie Profile: Lenneth- Very Good

PoPoLoCrois- BAD

The Legend of Heroes series (there are 3)- MEH

Monster Hunter Freedom- Good

Monster Hunter Freedom 2nd- Good

Harvest Moon Boy and Girl- Good if you liked harvest Moon 64, other wise pretty good

Innocent Life: A futuristic Harvest Moon- Pretty good

Future RPGs

Star Ocean: first departure- probably very good

Star Ocean: 2nd evolution- probably good

Dissidea Final Fantasy

Parastive Eve Something (I personlly have no interest, I think you said you wanted a arasite eve game)

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep

I think SE announced one more, FF13 agatio or something like that, I can't rember what its called. It another version of FF13 though.
