Yea i hope your demos theory is correct Faith R. Id be fukn dissapointed if the dudes that did Wave Race only made Wii resort jetski and left it at that.

Huh - so you guys want to play a game that uses:

1. Wii Motion +
2. Wiimote & Nunchuk
3. Balance Board
4. Online Connectivity
5. Voice recognition for unique functions outside of just talking
6. Wiiconnect24 for something outside of just updates
7. Dual layer Disk because it needs to be epic
8. Multiplayer 2 - 32 the more the merrier.
9. It has to be amazing

We're working on that. just give me two seconds.

The article describing the information contained in the source was done by Maxconsole , I've been arguing that Nintendo will have no choice but to loose momentum , in the first 2 years of the Wii's existance many of it's biggest IP's have been thrown at us I was shocked to find Super Mario Kart and Smash Bros Brawl come out in the same year , I heard some where on these forums that Nintendo were going for a 10 year stratergy with the Wii but  I seriously dought the Wii could last another 3 years without serious 3rd party support , what's your take on this ?


Oh and for alll those of you who will probably bring some sales statistics in an atempt to disprove me, re-read the post because this has little to do with the Wii's current sales performance but everything to do with Nintendo supporting the platform and keeping it strong.

1. So which is it?  Waaa, too many accessories or Waaa, no more accessories?

2. This is how every single console maker operates.  The day after they complete their console, they start work on the successor.   Been that way since the 70's.

3. 4 Jak and Daxter's, 5 Ratchet and Clank's, 3 Sly Cooper's, 4 Socom's, 4 ATV Fury's, Etc...all on PS2.   Any reason Nintendo is not allowed to make that many titles of their franshises in one generation?

4. When Miyamoto and group were desinging Wii, Shiggy planned a few specifically deisnged titles to take advantage of the console and attract new consumers.   Wii Music is the last of those planed titles.  That doesn't mean he's not making any more Wii titles,

What's sad is the most interesting part of the article wasn't quoted:

"

WSJ: Will Wii owners be forced to buy a Wii Motion Plus for each controller they own to play newer games?

Mr. Iwata: There will be games that will be enhanced by the Wii Motion Plus as well as games that can only be played with it. Users will need four if they have four controllers, but we're going to try to offer it for as little as possible. We haven't announced the price yet, but the cost of making the Wii Motion Plus is not that much, so I think we can make it very affordable."

I don't know what he means by affordable but I hope it's about 15-20$.

I think he just meant peripherals, not 1st party games. There are too many from last gen that they still haven't even hinted at yet.
