I don't own a PS3 yet but have a PSP and have been looking forward to the ways it can interact with the PS3 when I get one someday.  I heard you can watch movies from your PS3 on the PSP while you are away from home and such.  Please tell me what you've done with yours.

I do occasionally, though not that much

I only use the remote play feature on ocassion (playing select ps3 games on the psp at a distance).

example: playing pixeljunk monsters while on the toilet.

I watch video, songs, and photos sometimes. I started playing PixelJunk Elden on Remote Play.

That's pretty sweet.  Isn't that a PSN game?  Will it let you play games like Resistance on the PSP too?

its only a select few games: PixelJunk Eden, PixelJunk Monsters, Lair, Imabikisou, High Stakes on the Vegas Strip: Poker Edition, Maininchi Isshyo, Bionic Commando: Rearmed, and all ps1 games.  (i may have missed some)

  • If you start a new chat just by yourself, the PLAYSTATION Eye adds security camera functionality, you can check out your room
    • Update (12-18-07): You can now hear sound (listen in) via remote play video chat
      • Requires PSP Firmware 3.80 and PS3 Firmware 2.10
  • Only limitation is that the video doesn't take up the whole screen so it can be hard to see
