Forums - Sony - Well I just bought resistance Fall of Man for my PS3...

It's amazing for a launch title AND the first game for the franchise. I loved it but wasn't able to finish it when I rented it.

I might buy it (when I purchase a PS3) if the storyline/campaign is as good as I've heard. Is it compatible with the Dualshock 3 (rumble)?

The budget price would be a huge motivation for me to buy it.

I like it a lot. Story is good, but it's hardly the focus of the game. Where the game shines is the enemies, the weapons, and the pacing. It can put you on edge and has some really intense firefights. Definitely glad I picked it up for $30. I'm about to complete the game, and the guns only get better as you go.

I'm not usually a fan of console shooters, but Insomniac did a very good job on this one. It's a well-built game all around. It's not going to change how you play shooters, but it's not meant to. Insomniac wasn't trying to innovate, just to make a very fun game, and in that, they absolutely succeeded.

This game gets the naznatips seal of approval. Pick it up for $30 if you haven't already.

Not my cup of tea, although i can see why people do like it...
I am getting caught up in the hype for the sequel though!!!

I always look for a woman who has a tattoo. I see a woman with a tattoo, and I’m thinking, okay, here’s a gal who’s capable of making a decision she’ll regret in the future.

I am surprised that Nazna likes Resistance and that Montana doesn't have a PS3 yet.

I agree whole heartedly naz, my thoughts precisely. Will R2 have vehicles in multiplayer? Because it really should. I really wish there would be some sweet stalker vs tank fights online, but alas.

Anywho, are the map packs worth DLing for 13 bucks total? I havent decided if I feel like getting the extra maps but if they are really sweet then I just might.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

Downloading maps is only worth it if you play it a lot online.

I won't get a PS3 until it drops to $300 or less. The 360 has my needs covered at the moment.

Yeah, that's understandable.  I needed a Blu-ray player and a replacement PS2.  Considering a replacement PS2 is $130 (and it would only break again since they are built like crap), and a Blu-ray as good as the PS3 is $500, there was really no reason not to go a little higher and grab a 20GB PS3 for $375.

curious what part the demo showed off.
