hello casual gamer shovelware machine. When are the good Wii games coming?
Wii is only about selling lots of consoles- Puhlease. I want to see some quality games that interest me on the Wii.

MS has been out longer and sells slower, both of which help attach rate.

In the first 18 months of release in US, Wii sold WAY more software than MS did in its first 18 months.  In fact, it sold as much THIRD PARTY software as 360 sold TOTAL software in that time period.

I wouldn't mind to see some games that interest me on the Wii, but other than Mario, Zelda, and Metroid Prime 3 there really haven't been; and, in a world that has Metal Gear Solid and Grand Theft Auto IV, Uncharted, Resistance, Little Big Planet, Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII, the Gears of War and Halo series, and rpgs by Bethesda and Bioware on other consoles, I can do without a Nintendo console if I have to until they really put out a decent console again instead of the current toy they are hocking.

 Because the PS3 and 360 aren't toys? Do you play video games on them or do you use them for food processing or something?

You forgot to mention Wii Music... but again, like Wii Fit, Animal Crossing, etc.. its designed strictly to suck money from the ill-informed casual audience's pockets, and not for the hardcore gamer who wants to play something they wont get bored of after 5 minutes.

So after all that there are NO triple-A games this holiday season from Nintendo (I don't consider Animal Crossing a triple-A title, especially since its not even that much different from the last 2 versions save for online).

And the top three titles IMO are all third party multiplatform titles... GH: World Tour, CoD5, and MegaMan 9... theres also Star Wars: TFU, Clone Wars, Ghostbusters (if that ever happens), Deadly Creatures, Lego Batman, and a few other decent third party offerings, but again most of those are third party multiplatform titles...  there's nothing that screams HUGE MUST BUY AAA GAME OF THE YEAR like there was last year with Galaxy and later Brawl.  The second half of '08 has already been a huge letdown for Wii gamers, and we're only a month in!

First I want to address the part I underlined.  AAA in quality for the "Traditional Gamer", I agree.  AAA as far as Sales of the Casual/Core I disagree.

Wii Music (which makes me sick to my stomach) will probably out sell every game that came out on anyother consoles this year except GTAIV by February.

Animal Crossing ditto. (13 million for the franchise so far.)
