Forums - General - Who here reads comics?

I always looked for the comics "Bound & Gagged" and "Garfield" in Newspapers...

I still read a bit of manga. I used to read loads of Marvel and DC stuff but I don't have the time now.

I only developed an interest in comic books somewhat recently. The Preacher and Watchmen were the first 2 I read. Both I highly recommend (this is more to everyone else, RP has read those already).

Lately I've read V for Vendetta and am currently keeping up on The Boys, Fables, The Goon, and Kick Ass.

I tend to stay away from comic books about super heroes.

As to the project with RP, I had been turning the idea over and over in my head for about 2 months now.  I talked to RP about it this week and it turned out that it worked with a previous idea he had.  He had a lot of good twists and additions on what I had come up with along with some adaptations of his previous characters.  It will be a fun project.

I give this thread a 9.8.

Thank god for the disable signatures option.

Well, it's exciting to create somethng after so much time being idle.

Would you guys like to see sketches and how all this plays out?

I'm willing to show this entire process. After all this time of being a critic, I think it's time I laid my ass out for scrutiny.

Or check out my new webcomic: http://selfcentent.com/

Only ones I have read are Archie ones I think.

I like newspaper comics though...

The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers is super. The Adventures of Fat Freddy's Cat is highly recommended.

I read manga and some comics (haven't read in awhile). I wanted to read Watchmen as my brother was assigned that for his super hero class (Yes...he was taking a super hero class where u read and discuss comic books....I know, lucky bastard) but like a dumbass he misplaced it. I started reading Deadpool on my computer and I'm liking it so far.

I mostly read Euro comics... Asterix and Obelix, Thorgal, Phillip and Mortimer... But it's been a while. As for webcomics... well, my sig should say enough.
