Soooo, what was the big announcement? Or is it just done for today and starting again tomorrow?

I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

Sheesh, it was never meant to be about Star Ocean to begin. It has been said from SE a loooonnnng time ago that it would only be about FFXIII, FFVSXIII, Dissidia, Sigma Harmonics, the 3 Kingdom Hearts, PE3 and FFVII: ACC. And none of these games are ports, you don´t know what you´re talking about. Except ACC which is a blu-ray edition of AC with 30 mins more content. It´s getting tiring to see people bashing SE when they clearly don´t know what they are talking about.

FFXIII demo is not a big announcement, but for japanese gamers it is and I bet that if this event was in country you´ll be saying that it is indeed a big announcement.

Well first of all, I don't care what they said was going to be there. The issue is that SO4 wasn't. That's insta-fail, whether they planned it or not. There's no excuse. The same would/will apply if it's absent from TGS and the Jump Festa as well.

Second, Agito XIII and The 3rd Birthday are cellphone games being PORTED to the PSP. I think you should read up again on what was there before you assume that people are bashing them based on facts. The big announcements were these games besides the XIII demo.

From what I understand, the mobile versions of those games have essentially been canceled. We haven't heard a single thing about the mobile versions for like a year, and it seems as if they were reannounced as PSP projects.

That and in a recent 1up podcast, it was said "We're swinging the ball back to sony", IDK about u, but to me that sounds like they are planning something big. The PSP announcements would be considered swinging the ball to sony but IMO those were not big enough (although Im hyped for both games) to "swing the ball back to sony" and not to mention that a statement like that is referring more to the HD console war than handhelds since they are giving alot of love to the 360 (and the ball is in their court after last month's announcement)

KH3 wii exclusive

Poop on a stick PS3 exclusive, oh and FF13 versus goes wii/360 exclusive

so what else can S-E offer Sony....oh I know, they pack up all PS3 dev kits and send them back to Sony.
