oh another question.
What's the purpose of those flash card reader slots? What do you use them for?
crappy old school NES games are more entertaining than next-gen games.

got a camera, watch your pics/vids on your tv.
Pretty much on key with everyone else here, go ahead and plop down the extra $45..... it would suck to not have the space and need it.... Also if you have a PSP it can stream from the PS3 through wifi(I haven't had time to figure this out yet, but I know it can be done)

You can also copy your save games to them to transfer to a friend's PS3... at least, I think you can. I never actually tried it.
It seems the mods need help with this forum. I have zero tolerance for trolling, platform criticism (Rule 4), and poster bad-mouthing (Rule 3.4) and you will be reported.

Apart from the other extras. Note the 60GB drive not only provides more capacity, it's also faster (full/partially installed games, games supporting harddrive caching).

There you go, a good comparison
Also you can read Japanese?
Don't forget that you won't be able to watch movies purchased in Canada due to region-locking...
My Mario Kart Wii friend code: 2707-1866-0957
The 60Gb is the do-all .....I would recommend you that the difference in price is very small for this kind of extras .
But ,if you buy a japanese console you will lose some extras as the BR player ....and I am not sure your PS1 and PS2 games from the PAL area will work .I would buy the official machine .So if you only want to taste some of what the PS3 has to offer and pay the minimum price for it then the 20Gb version could be allright .
Thanks for the input guys.
I'm fluent in Japanese and I own a Japanese PS2 and NTSC-J PS1/2 games so I actually prefer a Japanese PS3. Fortunately PS3 games can be played on all PS3s so thats not a problem.
But blu-ray movies have region lock? So I wouldnt be able to buy/rent movies in Canada for a jap PS3...hmm oh well
crappy old school NES games are more entertaining than next-gen games.
