Wow, now I really want to see that real-time footage of Final Fantasy Versus XIII!

I'd rebuy AC on bluray even without the demo. Seriously, it's an awesome looking movie. The demo does make it a must buy though. Hopefully we'll get the demo with ACC over here as well, but I'm not holding my breath...

My guess is that the FFXIII demo will probably also make it to the 360 here as well, most likely pakaged with a game like SO4. It wouldn't make much marketing sense to pakage a DVD version of the demo in ACC just for the 360 when it can't even play the movie itself like the PS3 can.

here's how i see this whole thing going:

1.) SE wants to resell advent children at little cost, since all they have to do is remaster it to blu ray.

2.) they're putting the demo of FF13 in it, coz they know people will buy the demo regardless of what else they have to get in order to play it.

3.) the demo is coming out for playstation only because perhaps it was part of the deal in the FF13 360 port.. sony owning like 8 something % of SE surely allowed them to modify the deal a bit.

all in all, its a good deal. win win situation yes. but i still think that they're in the favor of sony coz they can easily put a dvd of the demo on the 360 if they wanted and it will generate lots of revenue for them. it can still happen though.

the demo is the big deal here and will be the one to spike sales. the advent children blu ray is very little. its an old movie, just rereleased.

You're some kind of uninformed,the blu-ray edition of AC is not a straight port,it includes much more minutes of movie not unreleased and the quality of detail in some of character's animations are improved and presents a better quality overall,just for this I will buy this when SE release the american version,or if subtitles are included anyone can import it,unless someone really fears to play the FFXIII demo on Japanese...

Even without the demo,AC complete is worthwhile,and a must buy for many Final Fantasy lovers...

regardless of all the extra minutes and whatnot, its still just a rereleased movie. its not going to spike sales. the FF13 demo will. think about it. are the majority of consumers gonna buy something they've already seen (only 20% of which can take advantage of blu ray's high def capabilities) or are they going to swallow the price in order to play something they've been anticipating for a long ass time?

people will buy this bundle for the demo. the blu ray advent children is in fact, the bonus in this deal for majority of consumers.
