To anyone that says "FMV"... have you ever heard of "Level of Detail"?

Was this game fun on the 360?

yes I have , and those are fmv, they're all from movie squences in the 360 original

I am relatively certain some of those scenes were done in-game. All the scenes involving Frank always keep whatever clothing you have equipped at the time. Given I am not anything close to an authority on the subject, but I think the only way to achieve that effect is to have it done in-game rather than do it movie style.

Sorry guys, but these are the original characters from the 360 version, in FMVs. And yeah, they don't look like that ingame (360). So I guess they won't look like that on Wii either . Either way, it is a fantastic game.

Proof those are FMVs?

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

If those are FMVs, it's an epic waste of space, because they look bad :/

Looks awesome.

1. Dude, there are 1,5 million people who have played the game, and you want proof? They are the same bloody screens that hit the internet 2 years ago for the 360 release. Unless you don't believe that, wait till you play the game. If you see something like that ingame, make a thread and show us the opposite
One more time: The game ROCKS HARD!

Yes, these are movie sequences from the 360 original.

"I mean, c'mon, Viva Pinata, a game with massive marketing, didn't sell worth a damn to the "sophisticated" 360 audience, despite near-universal praise--is that a sign that 360 owners are a bunch of casual ignoramuses that can't get their heads around a 'gardening' sim? Of course not. So let's please stop trying to micro-analyze one game out of hundreds and using it as the poster child for why good, non-1st party, games can't sell on Wii. (Everyone frequenting this site knows this is nonsense, and yet some of you just can't let it go because it's the only scab you have left to pick at after all your other "Wii will phail1!!1" straw men arguments have been put to the torch.)" - exindguy on Boom Blocks

From the Wii build. Unless you are calling IGN liars, this is not proof those are FMVs. It looks more like proof the Wii can handle the graphics of a game that never really pushed the 360.

Am I the only one that thinks that these aren't that much more detailed than RE4 models?

I mean, yes, they do look better... but not so much better that I can't believe the Wii could handle them.

Please, PLEASE do NOT feed the trolls.
