Jim Brown, a former NFL football player for the Cleveland Browns, filed suit against Sony and Electronic Arts in New York Supreme Court today, claiming that the two companies have used his likeness without his permission.

Why not Mircrosoft?

He is probably only naming Sony since the game in question was by far primarily only sold on Sony's PS2. I'm pretty sure is is for Madden 2003. People always go after those with the biggest to lose. Nintendo and MS at the time had a much smaller % of the Madden market share.
