One week before Microsoft's big opportunity to finally sell an adequate number of consoles in Japan while further getting their foot in the market and they're having SHORTAGES?!

Are you referring to America where it sold 87k and the PS3 sold 28k this week?

Kotaku can't even get their facts straight:

Wrong, considering sales trends Microsoft IS already moving more than 3,000 xbox 360s regularly in Japan.

At our Gamestop we are selling alot more PS3s than 360s right now thanks to Vader in SCIV. 

This week we have sold PS3, 3-1 over 360.  The MGS4 bundle flies off the shelf and the 40 gig is selling alot more.  Our number 1 seller on PS3 is MGS, followed by GTA, and alot more people are picking up Motorstorm and Resistance.

On the upside, preorders for GeoW2 are pretty high.  Followed by Fallout, Little Big Planet, and Reistance 2.  No one seems to be interested in Too Human though.

He is right.  We have tons of them lying around here.  Last week we did sell alot of 360s, but that sale died down after a few days.

Kotaku is pretty bad at checking up on facts and especially on retracting their mistakes.

One more time, alot more PS3s are being sold this week than 360s. I don't know why. Day by day, people are buying more PS3s.
