Not bad. Not bad at all. Lot more Wii games released in the same timeframe than GC games by Nintendo. Lot of core titles as well. Myth dispelled.

Haha, sorry about that.  I just never saw one go quite into detail, since it amazed me how similar the types of games Nintendo has released for Wii & GCN so far.  Also, I made sure to say I've been lurking for weeks, not months, does that help?

I can update ocassionally, hopefully Nintendo doesn't go proving me wrong in the next year

Wow, what a coincidence! I was just having a discussion with my friend this morning about the great ''hardcore'' games that were available in the first two years of the GCN. I don't agree that the Wii ones deliver as much as the GCN ones, but still, good analysis.

Don't take it to heart. I just notice the pattern with ambitious newcomers. Your table was airtight and very informative. It will be useful if this argument comes up again.

I didn't mean to imply that I think the Wii games are superior or equal to the GCN games so far, if that's what it sounded like.  I only meant to compare the effort they took to please the "hardcore" gamer, which seems pretty equal so far.  I mean, someone may prefer F-Zero GX over Wii's Fire Emblem, but it doesn't mean they aren't putting in the effort (which was my main point, basically).

Yeah, don't worry. I completely agree with the other parts of your post, it was just the comparison that bugged me a little. =P
