Forums - Nintendo - "Built from the ground up for Wii"

I was reading Cassamasina's reveal of the new "Cursed Mountain" at IGN when i realized, won't it be great when developers don't have to say that^ and stipulate that their games were built speciffically for the little white console?

I'll be happy the day I never see that phrase again-- a day when it's not expected for hardcore third party games to only be sh*tty ports.  There's obviously no way to measure this, but I'd bet that damned phrase will stop appearing by next year.  I think Wii Motion plus should help, but fortunately devs are already jumping on the Wii bandwagon (like EA's 40 title's in development [not that I like EA that much its just a good sign]), and that should take that phrase right out of the industry.  Agree?

We can only wish. That's like saying games are exclusive now, LOL!

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

I am pretty sure the phrase will vanish. It will be replaced by "Built from the ground up for Wii Motion +".

 Crap! you're probably right.

Another good one. We want the casual crowd or mainstream appeal. Yea Wii has got all the worst fukn cliche quotes.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
