Steampunk, not futuristic is alright. Its a natural extension on what we understand in the Zelda world anyway.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

The worst thing would be if Nintendo decided to make Zelda a "mature" franchise.

it is already, why the hell would you want too save zelda if there wasn't a reward

I agree. At least Mario got a cake.

He asked for a tart, but he got misunderstood...

Now, this would put Troma and the Toxic Avenger himself to shame... You are heavily into trash horror, aren't you?

In all honesty, whatever Nintendo wants to do with Zelda, they will do with Zelda. If your a real Zelda fanboy, you will buy whatever Nintendo decides the next Zelda is like.

Zelda's Kitchen?

...Hey, maybe Nintendo couldn't get the exclusive for it, over 28,000 prior art!

I think the worst thing will be ditching the 3rd person fighting style for 1st person. It will annoy me greatly. This doesnt mean I think MotionPlus should go unused, it should just be used tastefully. Like perhaps in boss battles. OH GAWD, i just had the best idea pop into my head: MotionPlus duel against SHADOW LINK...mmmm.

Also if fights are in 1:1 FPS it would suck if there wasnt a puzzle element to the fight also.

1:1 motion can still be carried out in 3rd person you know.

There would have to be some coding to get around things like stabbing yourself with the sword (In Wii Sports Baseball the bat can be placed through the Miis head for instance)

The Return of Tingle.

He made me feel dirty inside.

The worst thing has already happened to Zelda; It's become so easy that even a child can beat it with little thinking. What made Majora's Mask so good was that it required in depth thought, analysis to solve its puzzles and really gave the brain a workout.

No steampunk. Just as badd as futuristic. Everyone who wants steampunk likes final fantasy :P

Ummm, I was a child when I played Zelda OoT and MM and beat them... In fact many Zelda fans started playing and beat the games when they were children.
