Myriad reports are coming in from the US, suggesting that the XBOX 360 60GB version is out! But wait! Wasn't the launch date some time in "early" August? We're still in July and if these reports are to be believed, the XBOX has (again) jumped its original launch date in various Target stores across the US.

$50 more than 20G.  I'm sure it'll sell well.

I would get one if I did not already have a 20G.

 I don't think there was an official launch though. By what MS said it sounded like they werre just supposed to filter down to retail gradually starting early Augast.

Sooner the better as far as MS is concerned no doubt.

Looks like Sony should have taken this route with the upgrade to 80GB on the PS3 isntead of waiting for all the supply to dry out before launching...

I don't know who gives them advice on their strategies but he should be fired.

i got one about a week ago at target i didnt think they would have them and i went and there was a sticker on the box "now with a 60 gig harddrive" its really the same exact thing but with more memory lol

I'm thinking about it.  I'll probably wait till next year when some more games are out, or if it sees a price cut.

No unless microsoft makes it so keyboard and mouse works with all their games :O
