Right now, there is no multiplayer/online apart from some online leaderbaords. It's something that they've been saying for a while now that they want to focus on all the singleplayer stuff and if Lair does well enough, they'll try it with a sequel.
I'm kind of worried about the gameplay, the videos didn't show any extreme twisting and turning of your hands with controlling the Sixaxis, but hopefully they can get a demo out before or during the time of the game's launch. Something else was that they've claimed that they're getting it to run at 1080p and 60fps, lets see if they can finess it and get that because these new videos showed a bit of slowdown.
In the graphics department, it looks like it's had some improvement over it's last showing with some details and things like objects popping in and out. There was an older screenshot of that large city where all the land around the buildings was brown and the buildings stood out against it (not in a good way), now there is more detail rather than just that brown. I don't want to go and compare every game ever made to Gears, but Lair does look very good. I just hope all the aspects come together (controls, graphics, sound, and music) and show this game off well.
