Forums - Gaming - IGN Reviews soulCalibur4:PS3 version feels quicker and more polished

Oh how I love Soul caliber, great fighting game.

All the fanboys in this thread should stfu, some minor differences in some games (either in favour for 360 or ps3) only bother you (the fanboy).
The rest of the world just wants to play some games on the system they own.

Why do I have absolutely no interest in this game?

CoD4 They are equal for all intents, GTA4 - The framerate/resolution differences are quite large and favour the Xbox360, Burnout Dunno, DMC4 Pretty equal, and now this...  PS3 version is 720p Xbox360 is 1280/960 sweet.

Clap!

Look, we know you don't own a Ps3. We know you are a huge 360 fanboy. That doesn't mean you have to show it in every post.

CoD4 developers said Ps3 version was better.

GTA4 don't make me laugh with that shit. Come on seriously. The only sites that favored 360 GTA4 was GT and GT is well known to be 360 biased. GTA4 comparison was a joke. That racing game comparison was a fake and a joke. Their "we aren't going to show you what the Ps3 actually looks like with the right settings" was a joke.

Grand Theft Auto IV = 1152x640 (no AA) (26.4FPS with no screen tearing) 3.3 19.5million pixels per second rendered.

Grand Theft Auto IV = 1280x720 (2xAA) (30.46 FPS with 4% torn frames) and 28million pixels a second rendered

That racing game was GRID? You mean this one?

Race Driver: GRID = 1280x720 (4xAA) (30FPS Locked no screen tearing)

Race Driver: GRID = 1280x720 (2xAA) (28.49 FPS with 30% torn frames!)

Well either they're massive fanboys or they could see with their own eyes.

 You need to get laid...

1up gave it an A+.

wasn't something similar said about burnout paradise????

I can't wait to get this, but I won't be getting it soon.

I was pleasantly surprised by that score from IGN. It's nice to see a fighting game score well, because there are so few good ones left.

best fighter will be the next tekken ;)

but ill deffo get this the day it comes out... in 2 days.

Tekken hasnt been good for years. Tekken Tag Tournament was my first ever PS2 game, and i hated it. Yeah it had spiffing graphics, but it had a lack of real fighting moves (grabs, throws) that was over-compensated for by its ridiculous 37 button combos

BLASPHEMY!

No seriously the good thing about tekken is its deep fighting system and over the top story.. atleast in my opinion. Tekken 5 is the best tekken i've played so far. If you go back from tekken 5 and play any other tekken the controls feel sloppy and slow.. really. Innovations !.. tekken 6 will be epic.. if not legendary !

Check out my game about moles ^

Don't feel like you're the only one.  Although I've preordered it, I can assure you that there are a lot of gamers who don't care about this title and I know them personally!

I was waiting for this thread to break into some tech gibberish about how the 360 version ends up superior as soon as squilliam invaded...and the patience paid off!
