Forums - Sony - Rozarria? Yeah Sure....

Hey guys.

I am currently replaying Final fantasy XII, and I remembered a doubt that came into my mind while playing it for the first time:

WHERE THE HELL IS ROZARRIA?

Really I thought you would get to explore its capital, and go through some of its territory, but according to the lore of  the game, the only place that  "belonged" to Rozarria  and you could actually explore, was the Ogir Yensa Sandsea.

For me, not being able to go through Ivalice's second superpower was a huge letdown.

perhaps it doesnt really exist other than as a propaganda tool

"I like my steaks how i like my women.  Bloody and all over my face"

"Its like sex, but with a winner!"

If I am right you can be in Rozarria in Vagrant Story and FF tactics.  SE is creating games that set are in Ivalice and at the time period when Archadia and Razarria are in war.

Yeah, but not in FFXII, hence, you can't even see its territory on the world map. The thing that I don't like is that there's much talk throughout the game of the eventual Archadian- Rozarrian war, yet you never get to go to the latter.

Really strange and disapointing...

I was a bit confused at this too. Especially after Al-Cid comes into the story, I really expected to see Rozarria, so I was a little dissapointed. Kinda strange how FFXII is the first one where you don't get to explore pretty much the whole world.

Not really. Though he didn't see it through to the end it was done by Matsuno.  That's basically his style.

Like the Ogre Series.   Every game is based on a different country... the other players show up and have their influence felt but you never go to their homelands.

Yeah, that seriously blows. I imagine that the people there are far cooler than the Archades fags.

Yeah I thought the same haha. I mean judging from Al -Cid, it looks that as Archadians are constructed upon Mediterraenan ancient civilizations, Rozarria would be upon Arabian medieval period.

I mean a futuristic Arabian medieval empire?! How better can it get.

Well maybe Aztecs can do the job...=)
