Forums - Gaming - Brutal Legend, Ghostbusters, more dropped by Activision

Okay. So according to the Ghostbusters website, it says that there was apparently a playable demo at Comic Con. I'm pretty sure that it's still in production. Are you sure that those weren't just Vivendi franchises that were still going to be produced under the Vivendi title? It could have been an Activision game from the start. or maybe they got confused Vivendi confused with Sierra.

Yeah, but that could be them putting the game out there trying to fish for publishers.

I cant wait for Ghostbusters, but Im more afraid for Brutal Legend.

I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

This space Reserved for the Nuggets of Wisdom dropped by Bladeforce:

"Why post something like this when all it will get is PS3 owners blinded to reality replying? BOTH THE PS3 AND BLUE-RAY WILL NOT LAST 3 YEARS! TECHNOLOGY CHANGED TOO FAST!"

"is it Wii FIt that has sold as many as PS3's sold? Thats a LOL Look at the total sales of software is it just me that sees Nintendo titles hitting 10m+ and you say they arent making a difference? Another LOL!"

"Hell, with all the negative hype Sony spin, people just aren't interested cost is too high and to get the true HD experience (1080p, 7.1 surround) you will need a $1000+ system. THAT IS GOING TO DO IT IN A RECESSION! PS4 will not happen"

FFS, is Activision led by retards? Ghostbusters is far, far, far, far, far and away my most anticipated title in, like, 3-4 years. There hasn't been a game in at least that long that has made me say: "god, this is so awesome that I WILL buy this new if it lives up to expectations." And these dumb asses are not jumping on the publishing rights? *shakes head*.

Seriously, Activision has bought its way to number one, especially with the merger/aquisition that got Blizard on board, but they're still a bunch of ****tards if they let amazing propeties like Ghostbusters (3, which it essentially is) slip through their hands. I hope those morons go out of business and don't take Blizzard with them. Though they are free to take WoW with them....

You do not have the right to never be offended.

Eh i'm sure it's really just everything else will be put in another publishing line.

I can see the advantage of shuffling your games through different lines.  Usually you'd do it to strengthen some lines though and make sure some are definite profit producers.... but i mean that group seems held up by nothing but Prototype.

Activision publish both versions of Ghostbusters?

...Great so the games I want coming from them are Wet, Ghost busters, Riddick, brutal legend and prototype.

And only one is confirmed to actually be coming X.x

Im sure Ghostbusters (which every single time I type comes out Ghosters) will get published. Riddick and Wet have a fair chance to get published depending on how far along they are. Brutal Legend is the one im worried about the most X.x let's face it that game is probably destined for not great sales and publishers know it.

Turkish says and I'm allowed to quote that: Uncharted 3 and God Of War 3 look better than Unreal Engine 4 games will or the tech demo does. Also the Naughty Dog PS3 ENGINE PLAYS better than the UE4 ENGINE.

Maybe this is why Twesterm had all that time to write those novel sized threads earlier?

Twesterm is actually working on Ghostbusters? I thought his love of GB was just a coincidence...

Yep.  He works on the 360/PS3 version.

Hah, I never knew that.

crud....I hope they all find their way to release.....I was kinda looking forward to Brutal Legend.
