kotaku - sony haters - CONFIRMED again.)

what about x360 games, which don`t sell there at all? lol.

come on now lets be fair, xbox360 games not selling well in japan is not news

It's down to £28.99 from £49.99 in the UK (£21 or $42 reduction). Almost all games get massively reduced shortly after release, this isn't a big deal.

So it's europe too? Does this happen a lot in europe?

It's not uncommon in Japan. Japanese gamers typically buy the games they want within the first couple weeks of release. Only a handful of games remain in the top 10 in sales for longer than a month in Japan. So no, I'm not surprised. Those in Japan can probably tell you that some games go in the bargain bin sometimes as soon as the 2nd week, especially XBox games. :)

Yes, it's standard. The only games that don't get big reductions are ones where there are shortages like Mario Kart Wii and Wii Fit.

No it's because retailers ordered too much and sales were front loaded. One month is really soon. Tell us how much SMG or Mario Kart Wii have been reduced. Wii Fit is still selling well and it's past a month.

Pretty common. I Remeber people all in a fuss after SMG's price was slashed after it's dissapointing first week.

As I said, games where there's a shortage don't get reduced. Super Mario Galaxy is £22.00 and Brawl is £24.98, both down from £39.99. Maybe the situation is different for you in Canada but in the UK games get big reductions.

So, this isn't exactly news, Kotaku was just reporting it to have at least one semi-negative PS3 comment this week.  ( This seems to be standard practice with Kotaku, hating on all consoles equally)   Here in America,  games don't get reduced like that very often, unless it's not selling at all.  This could explain why the legs are better in Europe for MGS4 though....
